I've also got a soft spot for antiques. I practically grew up opening shop with my grandparents, who own Cobweb Antiques in Monroe, WA, and that love of old, well-loved things has stuck with me ever since. My bucket list? Coffee, pie, and road trips to see Washington's natural wonders like Mount Rainier, Cape Flattery, Tree of Life, and everywhere in between.

I found my way into this profession when we ourselves had to call a notary during the pandemic. She came right to our house, at a time that worked for us. Sitting at our kitchen island, signing and stamping documents, talking about ice hockey, I remember thinking: what a wonderful duty. A role built entirely around integrity and helping others. I knew right then I had to be part of it.

So I got my commission, and I built this business myself, one appointment at a time, as a one-woman show from day one. I originally expected most of my calls to be real estate signings. But it wasn't long before my phone kept ringing for something else entirely: hospital rooms and medical facilities, estate planning documents, things that mattered deeply to the people signing them. Intense, urgent meetings. I listened to what my community actually needed from me, and I leaned all the way in. Those moments walking into someone's most urgent, meaningful chapter and helping them feel peace became my calling.
